I've been in Colorado for the past two weeks and am finally starting to feel "good" running--like not going to die from lack of oxygen or extreme thirst (it is dry here). I got in a 10 miler this morning and as much as I despise carrying a water bottle I am for the time being here as well as my cell phone, just incase.
Next week I am taking the Newton Coaching certification class in Boulder... very much looking forward to the class. I am hoping that it helps me with small things with my own running that will make a big difference. For class I need to read this book called Natural Running. So far it isn't bad... though the first two chapters were kind of boring for me. Now we are into the meat of the book where the good stuff is and a lot of it is making sense to me and the direction I have started to take my own running into. More of a barefoot style running with a minimalist shoe.
